37 years at SWEP and still going strong
ow long have you worked at SWEP? H Since 1985 What was SWEP like when you started? We were 7 operators and 5 white- collar workers. Of the 7 operators, one was my aunt, another my cousin and the third was an old classmate. The room we were in had few pallet racks and work tables, which meant that much of the work was carried out on
the floor. I remember cycling home after work one day and feeling really dizzy because I was working with acetone all day without access to extraction for this purpose. Another memory I will never forget was that we often had to walk around to the other companies that were in the area and ask to borrow their trucks and tools.
